Vicky qualified from the University of Bristol in 2013. She spent almost three years in mixed practice where she was exposed to a wide variety of surgical cases which sparked her interest in surgery. Vicky then spent six months travelling and working in Thailand and New Zealand before returning to the UK to focus on surgery. She is currently studying for the BSAVA Certificate in Small Animal Surgery.
During her time in first opinion practice Vicky referred many cases to frank. Pet Surgeons. and was impressed by the open, friendly and supportive service provided. She then joined frank. Pet Surgeons in July 2021. Vicky is particularly looking forward to working with a team of highly qualified specialists, having access to specialist equipment and increasing her knowledge of orthopaedic and neurosurgery.
In her spare time Vicky is part of a local country show committee where she oversees the biosecurity and stewards in the sheep section. She also enjoys yoga, antique shopping and travelling.
