Emmanouil (Manos) qualified from the Veterinary School, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece in 2011. After spending some time in general practice he completed a surgery and anaesthesia internship and a two years’ MSc in Small Animal Surgery at the same university. Manos moved to the UK in 2015 and worked in first opinion small animal practice, as a rotating intern in two private referral hospitals and University of Glasgow and as a surgical veterinarian in a busy hospital in Bedfordshire. Manos has also published several surgery related research papers.
Manos joined frank. Pet Surgeons in November 2020 and is enthusiastic about focusing on orthopaedic and neurological surgery as well as working in a highly supportive and transparent environment. Having a background on soft tissue surgery, Manos is looking forward to expanding his theoretical and practical skills, pursuing his ambition to specialise in Small Animal Surgery. Manos is also excited to participate in a team that strives to offer readily accessible care to animals in need.
In his spare time Manos enjoys meeting out with friends, reading, exploring the English countryside and travelling abroad.
