Faye Knighton

Registered Veterinary Nurse

Faye Knighton - Registered Veterinary Nurse
Faye Knighton RVN Registered Veterinary Nurse

Faye completed her training at Towerwood Vets and stayed there for 7 years altogether, moving to Abbey House for one year. Faye’s previous experience in a fast-paced practice gave her a better insight of what to expect day to day when she took on the role at fPS, giving her the ability to remain calm and focussed.

Having recently achieved her surgical nursing certificate Faye wanted to use her knowledge and gain more experience within a referral practice. She really enjoys surgical nursing and wants to delve into seeing a larger case load and more complex surgeries. Faye loves surgical nursing and monitoring anaesthetics and the challenges they bring, as well as caring for patients and seeing them return to full health.  Faye feels fPS are great at putting the clients first, and the high level of care they provide to each patient, treating them as their own.

Faye has a red Border Collie called Pippa. She loves playing with her ball and going out into the countryside for long walks. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with Pippa, going for walks, and enjoys going to the gym, reading and seeing friends.  She has also recently just got back into an old hobby of horse riding. In 5 years’, time Faye sees herself still working at fPS, with a lot more knowledge than she has now and being able to help other nurses delving into the referral nursing role.
