Kayleigh has worked in the veterinary industry since 2009, initially in a first opinion small animal practice, then in a referral hospital where she gained her level 3 diploma in 2013. She then worked for a veterinary charity hospital, before moving into a management role as deputy head nurse at a large referral hospital with 11 branch practices. Much as she enjoyed the challenge, Kayleigh missed the hands-on nursing, and joined frank. Pet Surgeons. in October 2019 as a surgical nurse. As well as having a keen interest in anaesthesia, analgesia and imaging, Kayleigh really enjoys spending time reassuring and soothing patients both pre-op and during their recovery. Kayleigh has also gained her Certificate in Surgical Nursing in 2022.
Kayleigh is married with two children and enjoys spending time as a family on her days off. She has recently started running as a hobby and enjoys horse riding.
