Kayleigh has worked in the Veterinary industry since 2009, initially in a first opinion small animal practice, then in a referral hospital where she gained her Level 3 Diploma in 2013. She then worked for a Veterinary charity hospital for two years before moving into a management role as Deputy Head Nurse at a large referral hospital. Much as she enjoyed the challenge, Kayleigh missed the hands-on nursing and joined frank. Pet Surgeons. in October 2019 as a Surgical Nurse. In 2022 Kayleigh gained her Certificate in Surgical Nursing.
As well as having a keen interest in anaesthesia and imaging, Kayleigh really enjoys spending time reassuring and soothing patients both pre-op and during their recovery.
Kayleigh is married with two children and enjoys spending time as a family on her days off. Her hobbies include reading, walking and horse-riding when she has the time. Her favourite place to visit is Bamburgh beach in Northumberland.
