Robert Dewhurst

Robert graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2016 and then spent 2 and a half years working in a busy group of first opinion practices in Norfolk and Suffolk. Following this he spent two years working as a locum, first across Australia and then back in the UK. He then completed a rotating internship at a large, multi-disciplinary hospital in Hertfordshire, before joining frank. Pet Surgeons as a surgical intern in May 2023.

Robert is interested in all types of surgery, particularly fracture repairs and thoracic surgery. He is currently studying towards a Postgraduate Certificate in Small Animal Surgery with Improve International. 

In his spare time, Robert enjoys reading, travelling and going for walks with his wife and cat, Nemo.
