Lucy Ackroyd

Lucy attained her veterinary nursing degree at Nottingham Trent University, completing her training at Tweed House and qualifying in 2020.  Lucy’s previous role allowed her to gain the nursing skills required for when she joined the frank. Pet Surgeons. team in July 2021. 

Lucy loves surgical nursing and is looking forward to developing her knowledge working alongside the team providing gold standard care for pets at frank. Lucy would love to finish her top up degree and start an advanced veterinary nursing certificate.

Lucy’s favourite part of the job is following the pet from the moment they enter the hospital to the moment they leave, helping them through their journey and seeing them on the mend afterwards when they are reunited with their owner.

Lucy spends most of her spare time walking her crazy cockapoo Lewis, who loves going on adventures.  Lucy enjoys exploring new places to walk with Lewis and going to the cinema, as well as spending time with family and friends.
